DAY 1
ARRIVAL DAY
Meet you Cuban Tour Guide and Driver at Arrival.
Transfer in a private AC vehicle
Check in at the Aston Hotel. A modern hotel, located right in front of Havana’s Famous Malecón. Enjoy a welcome cocktail.
Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local private restaurant.

DAY 2
HAVANA (B/L)
8:30AM Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00AM Depart for Interactive guided walking visit through Old Havana with your Cuban guide to learn about recent restoration projects and the history of the city as you explore the 4 colonial plazas. Interact with private artisans and small business owners along the way, and learn about Cuba’s dual economy, in which private and government-owned businesses operate.
12:00PM Lunch at a local private restaurant.
2:00PM Enjoy a fun and very particular informal mixology class; where your personal mixologist will guide you through the process of making 3 famous Cuban cocktails.
3:00PM Return to the hotel

DAY 3
HAVANA (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00AM Be ready for an Interactive Walking Tour of the Artistry Neighborhood of San Isidro.
The tour will start at Galería Taller Gorría, nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, where you will be able to enjoy the best of Contemporary Cuban art. Founded by the renowned Cuban actor Jorge Perugorría, it is as an art center in constant contact with the community.
Afterwards, your local guide will walk you through San Isidro´s main streets. Learn about the cultural heritage it treasures, the community and the beautiful open air art murals created by famous national and international artists. For a few moments, you will feel part of the community, while engaging in the dynamics of the neighborhood and interacting with locals.
12:00PM Lunch at a local private restaurant
2:00PM Visit San Jose handcraft market, a 19th century storage house by the harbor turned into a huge indoor craft market. Time to explore and interact with local artists. A good opportunity to purchase souvenirs to help artisans!
3:00PM Return to the hotel
7:00PM Meet private owners and taxi drivers of Classic American cars and learn about their daily challenges to keep these relics running as you cruise the streets of Havana in pre-1959 Classic American cars.
8:00PM Dinner at a local restaurant
9:00PM FAC (Optional, no minors allowed) A former cooking oil plant, turned into a very avant-garde art venue. Considered to be the best night cultural proposal, it displays various artistic manifestations and captivating pieces of art.
12:00AM Return to the hotel

DAY 4
HAVANA – MATANZAS
9:00AM Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00AM Transfer to Varadero
11:30AM Stop at Bacunayagua Bridge. With a height of 341ft over the Bacunayagua River, it is the highest bridge on the Caribbean island and it is also considered one of the seven Cuban civil engineering marvels. Enjoy live Cuban Music while tasting one of the best Piña Coladas.
Continue trip to Matanzas city.
12:00PM Lunch at private local restaurant
2:00PM City Tour of Matanzas City. Founded in 1693, Matanzas is called the City of Bridges, due to the seventeen bridges that cross the three rivers that traverse the city (Rio Yumuri, San Juan, and Canimar). For this reason, it is also known as the “Venice of Cuba and “La Atenas de Cuba” (“The Athens of Cuba”).
Visit Mirador de Montserrate. Enjoy the magnificent views of the spectacular Yumurí Valley and the Matanzas city. It is located on an elevation known as Simpson Heights, a kilometer and a half from the beautiful city of Matanzas. The Hermitage of Monserrate, located there, constitutes a jewel of colonial architecture and was one of the main oratories of the 19th century.

VARADERO

9:00 AM Walking Tour of the city. Founded as a city on December 5, 1887, Varadero, situated on the Hicacos Peninsula, is only 1.2 km wide at its widest point. Be ready for some authentic interaction with local private artisans; learn about their challenges and day to day life.
10:30 AM Visit Casa del Ron, located on a beautiful Colonial House, near Varadero Boulevard. Learn about the history and the process of rum-making, while admiring a beautiful scale model of Matanzas’ Santa Elena distillery.
