The Havana Jazz Festival Tour is a unique 6-day experience discovering and celebrating Cuban music culture with world renowned Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee, Flautist Nestor Torres. Take part in fun & rewarding activities with local community leaders and musicians during the day and enjoy the wonderfully vibrant Havana Jazz Festival at night.

About Nestor Torres

Nestor Torres is a world renowned Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee Flautist. Born in Puerto Rico, 1957, he started his musical training as early as 12 years old, already drawing inspiration from Cuban dance music such as charanga.

He pursued his studies at the Escuela Libre de Música, then Puerto Rico’s Inter-American University. At 18 he moved to the USA where he attended New York City’s Mannes School of Music and the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.

Nestor Torres has produced 15 award-winning records and worked with many legendary contemporary jazz artists from Tito Puente to Gloria Estefan. He performs at benefit concerts all over the world and regularly returns to his former schools to inspire the next generation of flautists.
